The main emphasis of the knowledge management is information systems. In the recent systems the focus has turned from information systems to organized development, capital management, along with competence management. In the end of 1990 social learning, systematic innovation, change management, and organizational sense making. It also helps in making prominent themes in the field of knowledge management. It is said that the future of knowledge management is very bright and the power of knowledge revolutionize management. There is no limit for organization knowledge and helps in innovation and organizational learning.

It is constantly debated about whether the goals of knowledge management should be restructured based on the present educational systems. The work will be facilitated through the external database on online sources. It was understood that perfect information will result in the overload of information.

The technology has played a vital role in expanding knowledge management and has brought a wider spectrum to it. The internet was a very big revolution and has increased public consciousness. Expert systems have been marketing the solutions which help in alleviating problems like organizational downsizing and critical competencies which include Feigenbaum, McCorduck etc. The representation of knowledge techniques is developed for the expert systems which has a generic value and helps in the proper classification of the human knowledge. The whole idea of knowledge management is a very huge concept and it requires major steps for its successful exchange. The concept of knowledge management holds a bright future and has the scope of further expansion.
